Market making: run liquidity programmes and supervise them in real time
Set market-maker obligations through tiered liquidity buckets, monitor presence and spread live, track violations and calculate rebates, on the same platform that runs the market.
In short
ZagTrader lets exchanges and market operators run market-maker programmes and supervise them on the trading platform: obligations are set through tiered liquidity buckets, presence and spread are monitored in real time, violations are flagged and rebates are calculated from obligations met. Market makers trade from dedicated inventory accounts, with daily P&L and surveillance reporting for desks and regulators.

What can a liquidity bucket require of a market maker?
Each bucket defines the obligations of the market makers assigned to it: daily volume range, maximum spread, presence and continuity, minimum cash, monthly trades, order value and quantity, and the maximum number of trading pairs.
Which violations are tracked?
Order-spread breaches, orders below the minimum value, and unequal two-sided quotes are flagged automatically, bucket by bucket, alongside real-time presence and spread monitoring.
How are rebates and P&L reported?
Rebates are computed by ticker and date from the obligations each market maker met. Daily P&L, activity and performance reports carry liquidity-bucket, presence and violation metrics for desks and regulators.
Which exchanges use it?
Boursa Kuwait uses ZagTrader technology for market-making surveillance and reporting, together with a market game and simulation system.
