Routing destinations · ZagFN routing network
1,100+ routing destinations on ZagFN
Brokers, banks, exchanges and liquidity providers you can route to from one OMS/EMS. Don't see yours? We add destinations as clients need them.
In short
A routing destination is a broker, bank, exchange or other venue your orders can reach from ZagTrader's OMS/EMS. ZagFN, ZagTrader's managed trading network, holds the FIX sessions to 1,100+ of them, through direct routes, NYFIX and other networks, and Bloomberg EMSX and TSOX. Orders pass your pre-trade risk checks once, go out over FIX, and every fill comes back to the same order.

We provision the sessions
ZagTrader sets up each connection in the data center that suits your markets, with primary and backup sessions.
- Step 3
Certify before you go live
Test order types, fills and drop copy end to end in a certification environment, without risking a live trade.
- Step 4
Trade, monitored around the clock
Go live with every session watched and every message logged. Adding the next destination is configuration, not code.
Routing destinations: common questions
What is a routing destination?
A broker, bank, exchange or other venue that orders from ZagTrader's OMS/EMS can be sent to. ZagFN, ZagTrader's managed trading network, holds the FIX sessions to each one, so new, amend and cancel orders go out over FIX and the execution reports come straight back to the same orders.
Can I route to many brokers from one order book?
Yes. Every destination is reached from the same OMS/EMS and the same pre-trade risk checks, and fills from every route land in the same positions, cash and post-trade. Adding the next destination is configuration, not code.
Trading and executionWhat if the destination I need is not on the list?
Tell us who you route to. We scope the route, set up the session in the data center that suits your markets, and certify order types, fills and drop copy with you before the first live order.
Talk to usWhich FIX versions do the sessions use?
FIX 4.0, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3 and 4.4, and FIX 5.0, 5.0 SP1 and 5.0 SP2 over FIXT 1.1. Each session uses its own data dictionary, and a counterparty's custom tags are mapped per session with no change to your workflow.
ZagTrader FIX EngineCan we receive drop copies from our brokers?
Yes. ZagFN takes real-time copies of fills from external brokers and exchanges, for independent risk, reconciliation and reporting.
Do you connect to crypto venues?
Yes. Digital-asset exchanges are reached over FIX or their own APIs and answer in standard execution reports, so crypto orders follow the same flow as any other venue.
Digital assetsWhat happens when a connection drops?
The session reconnects on its own, to a backup address if one is set, and recovers missed messages through resend and gap fill. Every session is monitored around the clock and every message is logged.
Free FIX log analyzer for your routing sessions
ZagTrader routes orders over FIX to 1,100+ brokers, banks, exchanges and liquidity providers through ZagFN, and publishes free FIX tools for the people who run those sessions: a log analyzer, a parser, a message builder and a FIX dictionary. When a session misbehaves, the analyzer shows the rejects, gaps, resends and ack latency in the log, in your browser.
- Fill and reject rates, ack latency p50 and p99, order outcomes
- Reject reasons ranked by 373, 103, 102 and 380, with how-to-fix guides
- Session health: logons, sequence gaps, resends and test requests
- Flow ladder, order blotter and compare logs: client against broker
- Runs in your browser: nothing you load is uploaded
