AI that works inside your platform, and builds on it
An assistant for your staff and clients that answers from your live data and acts only with approval, and a developer kit that lets anyone build trading screens with an AI coding assistant.
In short
ZagTrader's AI assistant works inside the back office, the client portals and the Investment Office. It answers questions from your live data, explains reports, errors and settings, and prepares actions your people approve. With the Build on ZAG kit, anyone can describe a trading screen or report to an AI coding assistant and have it built on the ZagTrader platform.
- Works
- Out of the box, with your administrators in control
- Governed
- A person approves every action, under a board-adopted AI rulebook
- Languages
- English and Arabic, typed or spoken
The assistant inside your platform
For back-office staff, relationship managers, finance and your clients.
Ask your data
Plain-language questions answered from your own live reports, within each user's permissions.
Explains every figure and error
What a report includes, why two totals differ, what an error means and which screen fixes it. Paste a screenshot and get the answer.
A morning briefing
What needs attention today, from KYC reviews to working orders and finance signals, waiting at sign-in.
Acts with approval
Prepares orders and routine customer changes. A person confirms each one, and every action is audited.
Reports without developers
Describe the report you need. The AI drafts it, tests it on real data and publishes it to the menu.
For your clients too
A self-service assistant in your client portals for balances, holdings, orders and how-to questions.
Build on ZAG: build your own platform with AI
A developer kit that turns an AI coding assistant into your own ZagTrader developer, in an afternoon.
- 1
Get the kit and your key
Choose the retail or broker edition of Build on ZAG and create an API key in the platform. Your firm decides who may have one.
- 2
Point your AI assistant at it
The kit teaches an AI coding assistant how ZagTrader works: guides, the full API reference, a ready SDK and working sample apps.
- 3
Describe what you want
A trading screen, a portfolio view, a client report. The assistant builds it on your live platform. No coding needed from you.
What is in the Build on ZAG kit
| Capability | What you get |
|---|---|
| Platform knowledge for AI | Guides an AI assistant reads first, plus llms.txt indexes sized for AI tools, so it understands ZagTrader before it writes anything. |
| API reference | OpenAPI specification, Postman collection and the full endpoint catalogue for each edition. |
| Ready SDK | A zero-dependency JavaScript SDK covering market data, the realtime price feed, balances and positions, and the full order lifecycle. |
| Sample apps | Runnable trading and portfolio screens in plain JavaScript and React, plus a Node starter, to copy and extend. |
| Recipes | Step-by-step recipes for real app features: payments, price alerts, statements, watchlists, options, copy trading and more. |
| Agent tool server | Lets AI assistants look up quotes, depth, charts, balances and orders and place orders, with order actions flagged so the assistant asks first. |
| Two editions | Retail, for clients building on their own account, and Broker, for staff acting on the customers they are authorised for. |
Governed from day one
- Every answer follows the user's own permissions and customer visibility.
- A person confirms every action the AI prepares, and every action is audited.
- Administrators switch the AI on or off and choose the AI account it uses.
- The board adopted a rulebook for how AI is used across the company and the platform.
Frequently asked questions
Do we need our own AI subscription?
No. The assistant works out of the box. If you prefer, your administrator can connect your firm's own AI provider account instead.
Can the assistant see data a user is not allowed to see?
No. Every answer goes through the same permissions, office scope and customer-visibility rules as the screens, and sensitive values such as credentials are masked.
Can the AI place trades or change accounts on its own?
No. It prepares an order or a routine change, and nothing happens until a person reviews and confirms it. Every action runs through the platform's normal checks and is audited.
Which languages does it support?
English and Arabic, following the user's interface language or the language they write in, with voice input in both.
Do I need to be a developer to use Build on ZAG?
No. The getting-started guide is written for people who have never used an AI coding assistant. You unzip the kit, add your API key and describe the screen you want.
Who controls the AI?
Your administrators. From one settings screen they switch the assistant and its options on or off, choose the AI account it uses, and decide who may create API keys for Build on ZAG.
