Every beneficiary, portfolio and custody account in one base currency, with cash and holdings by custodian and a consolidated family view.
See the detailsFour eyes on every decision

How it works
From your starting position to the statement the family reads.
- 1
Load your starting position
Bring holdings and cash in from a template, checked row by row, reconciled to your trial balance and approved before anything books.
- 2
Record trades and allocations
Enter or import trades, and split one broker fill across beneficiaries and custodians with the right average cost for each.
- 3
Every movement reaches the ledger
Trades, income, maturities, fees, transfers and corporate actions post through one ledger to double-entry accounting. Corrections are reversals, never deletions.
- 4
Value the book every day
Prices and rates arrive from the platform feed or approved manual sheets. Unusual moves are held for review before they reach the valuation.
- 5
Test it against the mandate
Limits are checked daily and before each trade. Breaches go to a register with deadlines, acknowledgements and waivers.
- 6
Report to the family and the committee
Issue statements, run scheduled report packs and print the committee pack from the same frozen figures.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Investment Office a separate product?
Yes. It is its own application on the ZagTrader platform, with its own ledger, reference data and screens. Your team signs in with the same ZagTrader login and permissions.
Can it consolidate holdings held at several banks?
Yes. Each beneficiary holds custody accounts at as many custodians as you use. Reports show holdings and cash by custodian and a consolidated family book in your base currency.
How are bonds, sukuk and fixed deposits valued?
Bonds and sukuk at clean price plus accrued coupon or profit, fixed deposits at principal plus accrued interest, and every currency at its dated exchange rate. A missing rate is named, never assumed.
What happens when a back-dated trade is booked?
Every affected valuation day is restated automatically and recorded in the restatement register with the old and new NAV, so returns and statements always reflect the corrected book.
Can statements be issued in Arabic?
Yes. Each beneficiary receives statements in English or Arabic. Statements are numbered without gaps, frozen as issued, and can be e-mailed as password-protected PDFs on a schedule.
How do we move our existing book onto it?
The Opening Load brings in your starting position from a template, reconciles it to your trial balance and books it after approval. A history import adds past prices, rates and cash movements so performance starts from your real history.
