Who is Latin Securities?

Latin Securities is an Argentine financial services group based in Buenos Aires, with operations in Uruguay, Paraguay and the United States. Its origins go back to 1995, when Caspian Securities Argentina was set up in Buenos Aires. In 1997 the business partnered with Raymond James to form Raymond James Argentina, and in 2016, after Raymond James withdrew from the local market, it took the Latin Securities name.

The firm provides securities brokerage and trading in Argentine markets, takes part in the placement of public share offerings, and serves institutional investors in Argentina and abroad. Its research covers Argentina and Uruguay for local and international investors, with strategy publications and recommendations on sectors and companies.

Latin Securities also offers private banking, investment advice and asset management for individuals, companies and institutions, including through its Uruguayan operation in Montevideo.

How ZagTrader connects and routes to Latin Securities

Where a client has an account with Latin Securities, ZagTrader routes orders to it over FIX through ZagFN, alongside every other broker on the same blotter, with pre-trade checks first and fills booked straight back. Execution is provided by Latin Securities under the client's own arrangements.

Routing to Latin America

Latin American brokers open the markets of Brazil, Mexico, Chile and their neighbours. Through ZagFN, orders to the region use the same FIX connectivity, pre-trade checks and multi-currency post-trade as every other destination.
