Who is Makor Securities?

Makor Securities is an agency broker serving institutional investors, with its main office in London and further offices in New York, Tel Aviv, Paris, Geneva, Singapore and Dubai. The firm was founded in 2011 by Michael Halimi and Avi Bouhadana, and it trades only on behalf of its clients, holding no trading books or positions of its own.

Makor provides execution and advisory services across equities, listed options and futures, fixed income including sovereign, credit and emerging market debt, hybrids and swaps, and foreign exchange in major and emerging market currencies. It also offers investment banking and structured products.

Its research covers quantitative analysis, strategy, risk arbitrage and special situations, with an emphasis on systematic analysis that supports valuation decisions.
