Who is TradeStation Securities?

TradeStation Securities, Inc. is the US broker-dealer of TradeStation Group, based in Plantation, Florida. The group began in 1982 as Omega Research, a maker of software for building and testing trading strategies, and has offered online brokerage since 2001. It provides self-directed trading in equities, options and futures through its own platforms and an API. TradeStation Group has been owned by Japan's Monex Group since 2011.

How ZagTrader connects and routes to TradeStation Securities

Where a client has an account with TradeStation Securities, ZagTrader routes orders to it over FIX through ZagFN, alongside every other broker on the same blotter, with pre-trade checks first and fills booked straight back. Execution is provided by TradeStation Securities under the client's own arrangements.

For desks in the Middle East, Europe and Asia, North American brokers are the usual route into US and Canadian equities, options and fixed income. ZagFN carries that flow over one managed connection, so the US and Canadian sessions run through the same blotter, risk checks and post-trade as your home markets.
